Cenin is a pioneering company which is manufacturing cement
replacements from industrial by-products, generating power from renewable
energy sources, providing analytical and testing facilities for industrial
processes and developing a business park for similar low-carbon enterprises.

Cenin is helping to reduce the growing global problem of excessive CO2 emissions by developing and demonstrating a range of low-carbon cements produced using it’s our own renewable energy source. Its site at Stormydown aims to demonstrate that the SME sector can prosper in the low carbon economy which is the future.

Our Technological Partners:
Building from our research arm Celtic Cement Technology who provide the advanced patented technology behind our industrial process, we are developing a fifth scale cement replacement manufacturing plant to produce a superior quality cement from industrial by-products using 100% renewable energy. This energy will be generated principally from Biogas and supplemented by wind power.
Our Developmental Partners:
Key to our success is a number of successful partnerships with public bodies such as the National Assembly for Wales, Local Authorities, the Renewable Energy Partnership and leading European Universities who will provide 'proof of concept' analytical studies and opportunities for further innovation development and enterprise by working with us on site as our project grows.
Our Location
We are based in South Wales, UK and our business park is on the former aerodrome at Stormydown between Bridgend and Port Talbot with excellent access to road, rail and sea to enable a sustainable transport system.
