Many industries dispose of billions of tonnes of industrial by-products and waste to landfill or stockpile large quantities of by-products causing a blot on the landscape and polluting the local environment.

Many of these by-products contain some of the main chemical elements that are found in Portland cement or readily available cement substitutes. These materials when subjected to thermal treatment as part of our patented technology can provide a cement substitute that is equal to or better than is currently available to the construction industry.
A wide range of available
materials have been tested and we have identified readily available
sources of suitable by-product for our manufacturing plant.

Our manufacturing process is an economic and environmental solution to the construction industry’s requirements based on technical performance and fully integrated quality control systems to ensure technical reproducibility throughout the manufacturing process.
It is projected that the world currently uses 2.75 billion tonnes of Cement and will need up to 5 billon tonnes by 2025 adding a further 2 billion tons of carbon emissions to the atmosphere. We at Cenin Cement are pioneering vital sustainable low carbon alternatives.
As part of the evaluation of materials that can be used in cement replacements, the Celtic Cement patented technology we use, analyses each material under a fifteen point programme including at a range of different temperatures to insure no harmful emissions are produced or omitted during the process.
