Cenin produce a FLEXIBLE CEMENT REPLACEMENT product, tailored for it’s proposed use, from local industrial by-products using a low-heat technology and utilising 100% renewable energy.
Currently Cement manufacturing produces 1 ton of CO2 per ton of cement produced as a result of the high levels of heat required to 'cook' the limestone raw material in a kiln. Both the kiln and the milling process required to produce the fine powder material demands a massive amount of [electrical] power. Electricity generated from Coal Burning power stations produces 3 tons of CO2 per ton of coal burnt.
Our manufacturing process reduces the necessity for quarrying of natural virgin aggregates through the use of construction & industrial by-products that are currently stockpiled or destined for landfill sites. These materials when subjected to a much lower level of thermal treatment and our patented industrial technology produces a cement substitute that is equal to or better than is currently available.
Our fifth scale manufacturing facility will be a working, profitable, proof of concept for our patented manufacturing technology.

Unlike any other process currently
available our manufacturing process can change the properties of the cementitious
material to suit the needs of the end users e.g. reduce the heat of hydration
in hot climatic conditions or increase the heat of hydration in harsh winter
environments.
The technical performance and flexibility of our cement replacements
are based on the industrial knowledge, is driven by industrial demand
and based on technical performance, with high quality management control,
established through ten years of technical research and consistency in
performance in concrete and mortar.

Cenin utilises a patented technology from our technology arm Celtic Cement Technology, in its manufacturing process that dramatically reduces the CO2 emissions and by utilising renewable energy the process is totally sustainable.
