Technically Superior Products

Our cement replacement products have proven higher strength, lower permeability and are more durable than concrete made with ordinary Portland cement.

Come and visit us and we will demonstrate not only the superior properties of our cement replacements but also the flexibility we can build into the manufacturing process to create the product you need for your specific end use.

The Cenin product range is tested to the following European standards:

  • BS EN 196-1:2005, Methods of testing cement, Part 1: Determination of strength.
  • BS EN 196-2:2005, Methods of testing cement, Part 2: Chemical analysis of cement.
  • BS EN 196-3:2005, Methods of testing cement, Part 3: Determination of setting times and soundness.
  • BS EN 196-5:2005, Methods of testing cement, Part 5: Pozzolanicity test for pozzolanic cement.
  • BS EN 196-6:2005, Methods of testing cement, Part 6: Determination of fineness

Cement Chemistry Testing Facilities

As part of our research facility we can test both the chemical and physical elements of our cement products and can assess the compounds and elements that form using XRD and XRF technology. These facilities and our dedicated team are available for outside development and testing work.

We have developed well established links with leading European Universities and are working in partnership with them to develop our commercial scale research facilities.

Industrial by-products form an integral part of our raw materials. An assessment of their Quality, in terms of composition, strength, weatherability etc helps the user to determine the right raw materials for the intended processes.

Greater strength over time

Adaptable

Unlike any other process currently available this process can change the properties of the cementitous material to suit the needs of the end users e.g. reduce the heat of hydration in hot climatic conditions or increase the heat of hydration in harsh winter environments

Sustainable

Cenin utilises a patented technology from its technology arm Celtic Cement Technology, in its manufacturing process that dramatically reduces the CO2 emissions and by utilising renewable energy the process is totally sustainable.

Extensive chemical analysis of cement products

Design the cement you need

The Technology changes the rules for the precast and ready-mix industries because instead of trying to make the best of cement substitutes supplied to them, companies can now specify and design the cementitous materials they need.

The technology has been tested further in an operational production environment on a range of industrial by-products designed for a variety of end uses.

Extensive Testing of cement products

High performance: Using cutting edge analysis systems such as xray diffraction (XRD) and x-ray fluorescence (XRF) combined with particle size analysis (PSA) monitoring our technology can produce a far superior product.

Cement testing and analysing equipment

The technology has been developed today, with the future of cement production in mind, based on years of industrial knowledge and experience.

This technology can also be applied to existing manufacturers of slag cement to improve their performance on setting times, strength development and cold climate concreting.

Chemical Analysis

Technical Control on Cement Management: The technology has been developed and driven by industrial demand and is truly based on technical performance.

Cenin is also pioneering the use of ultra low carbon energy sources such as biogas and renewable wind energy to further reduce CO2 emissions from its cement manufacturing process to practically zero.
